Kinesis is a low cost Gym with a community feel . Kinesis Gym aims to make our gym accessible to everyone who wants to become or remain fit and healthy. What differentiates Kinesis Gym from other gym is that we strive to be highly focused on quality. We have top of the range, high quality equipment which will suit the novice to the athlete – we have not only the standard gym equipment, but specific training pieces. Additionally we are listening to our members and aiming to respond to what they want. Therefore, in the last 2 months we have added 2 more treadmills which cater to the serious runner who also trains indoors and also another arc trainer. We are also planning another equipment room on the 2nd floor of the gym with. Altogether we will be adding another 11 pieces of equipment, which are planned to arrive late May/early June.
Kinesis offers free induction so that you are able to safely and effectively use our equipment to maximum effect. Our inductions are conducted by our personal trainers/ fitness instructors who can also write you a 4-week training program so that
you can start achieving your new fitness objectives.
Our trainers and managers can also advise on
- Loosing weight
- Toning specific body areas
- Building muscle mass
- Changing Nutrition
- Taking on fitness challenges – charity runs/body building competitions and many other events
After joining inductions can be booked by contacting us (information on the ‘contact us’ tab). Or using your ‘booking’ from within your own membership page ( where you can also book your classes). Personal training sessions costs vary depending on the trainer. Details of our trainers can be found under the ‘ Kinesis Staff ‘ tab and trainers can be contacted directly to discuss days, times and cost. Business cards can be found on the reception desks together with leaflets detailing some of the clubs they also run.
Kinesis also offers Osteopathic treatment; sports massage and rehabilitation treatment through Steven Hollingshead who is a qualified trainer and osteopath and can combine both elements in his training programs to suit both those new to training and those coping with or coming back from training injury.
